Mount Tai One-Day Tour Guide|Check in at the Most Majestic of the Five Great Mountains‼️
As someone who has successfully reached the summit of Mount Tai, I have to recommend this easy and beautiful route to you! Climb in the morning and descend in the afternoon, it won’t be too tiring at all~
🌄Morning itinerary:
1️⃣ Taohuayu Entrance (7:00-17:00)
Take the Taohuayuan Cableway up the mountain from here, super effortless! The cableway takes about half an hour, offering views of the layered mountain peaks. It’s recommended to sit by the window for great photo opportunities📸
2️⃣ Nantianmen (South Heavenly Gate)
A 15-minute walk from the cableway exit, at an altitude of 1,420 meters, with a super wide view! You can overlook the entire Tai’an city, and on clear days, you can even see the sea of clouds☁️
3️⃣ Yuhuangding (Jade Emperor Peak) (5:00-23:59)
The highest point of Mount Tai, at 1,545 meters! The must-visit “Supreme of the Five Great Mountains” stone stele and the Mount Tai sunrise observation point are here. Standing at the top is truly breathtaking~
⛰️Afternoon itinerary:
You can choose to walk down the mountain starting from Zhongtianmen (5:00-24:00), passing classic spots like Shibapan (Eighteen Bends) along the way. It takes about 3 hours to reach Hongmen, with many interesting cliff inscriptions on the route!
🍜Food recommendations:
After descending, be sure to try the farmhouse dishes made with Mount Tai’s “Three Beauties” (tofu, cabbage, and water)! I recommend the restaurant “Taishan Renjia,” located near Hongmen, where you can enjoy a satisfying meal for about 50 RMB per person~
💡Tips:
① It’s recommended to buy cableway tickets online in advance during peak season
② It’s windy at the summit, remember to bring a jacket
③ Wear comfortable sports shoes, as some sections are steep
④ Bring enough water and snacks, as prices on the mountain are relatively high
