Hey everyone! Today, I'm here to recommend a lesser-known but amazing park – Taicang Citizen Park! Although it's just a "small" park, it's definitely worth spending a weekend exploring! 😉
📍Location: Taicang Citizen Park, easy to find!
This park is perfect for walking with kids, camping, strolling, catching tadpoles, and flying kites! 🎈 And, most importantly, it's free and open to the public! 🆓
⌚The opening hours are also super considerate. As an open park, it's accessible from all directions, and no one limits your time. Play as you like!
🎈Here are some tips for your visit:
1️⃣For those living in Taicang, bringing your kids here on the weekend is definitely a great choice! There's a small pond in the park where many children are catching tadpoles and having a blast! 👶
2️⃣Large lawns are waiting for you to lie down! But be aware that it may be crowded on weekends, since it's in the center of Taicang. So, come early to pick a good spot. Setting up a tent by the lake is a good choice. It's close to the water source, and you can even cook a hot pot 🥘 and enjoy a lakeside picnic!
3️⃣What surprised me the most is that Taicang actually built a library in the park! There are tables and chairs in the outdoor area by the lake. Reading a book while basking in the sun is just too chill! 📚
🚶Here’s a recommended city walk route for everyone: Wanda Plaza ➡ Citizen Park ➡ Taicang Museum ➡ Taicang Art Museum. This route offers food, fun, scenery, knowledge, and improved artistic appreciation – simply perfect!
🚌Public transportation is also very convenient. Take Taicang Bus 115, 122, 128, 202, or 207 and get off at the [Shanghai Road, Municipal Government Station]!
In short, Taicang Citizen Park is truly a hidden gem! Although it's not big, it will definitely allow you to spend a pleasant weekend! Come and check it out! 📸
