The Tongbai Revolutionary Memorial Hall, located in Yejia Dazhuang, south of Tongbai County, is one of China's 100 classic red tourism attractions. The memorial hall occupies the site of the residence of local gentry Mr. Ye Fengyu, which was expanded during the Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty. Built into the hillside, the hall features a staggered layout, overhanging eaves, carved beams, and painted buildings, representing the typical architectural style of Tongbai at the time.
The exhibits in the exhibition hall are based on the concise clues of Tongbai’s party history and the deeds of famous heroes. They collect relevant information, photos, and physical objects from the first and second civil revolutionary wars, the Anti-Japanese War, the Liberation War, and the socialist revolution and construction period in the old area of Tongbai. They truly record the great achievements of the revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives and shed their blood for the happiness of the people, and reflect and show the indomitable spirit of the people of Tongbai in a broad sense.
