The boss said that if I stay at Marriott for another night before the end of the month, I will get a free accommodation voucher, so I decided to go to Taichung and use the meal voucher for 2 people given by the black card member of the hotel 😸

Moxy is an affordable and trendy hotel under the Marriott Hotel Group. The Taichung Fengyi Moxy Hotel is the first Moxy hotel authorized by the Marriott Group in Greater China. It will open in 2020. Moxy is the youngest brand under the Marriott Group. The brand feature of Moxy is "fun and interesting"

This hotel is positioned as a business hotel in Taichung. The rooms are all less than 10 square meters. In the limited space, tables, chairs, and luggage racks are hung on the wall. There is also luggage space under the bed.

You can also freely remove the folded furniture hanging on the wall and place them where you want to create a room that best suits your needs.

This time I booked the most basic eco-friendly room 1609, which can be upgraded to a superior room type (Surperior) Corner room

In order to protect the environment, many supplies have been reduced. Mineral water is not used, but glass water bottles are provided. You can go to the ironing and tea room on the floor to get drinking water or sparkling water!

The room feels pretty spacious, but there are only two large towels in the bathroom, which is a bit too environmentally friendly😞

The bed is not big but moderately soft and hard, and it is quite comfortable to sleep
I also went to use the gym. I saw the auntie cleaning very carefully in the morning. I also used the washing machine (detergent $20 + laundry $50), and drying clothes is charged separately!

This time, I didn't choose breakfast as part of the Marriott member welcome gift. Instead, I chose a $300 credit at The MOXY Bar (Titanium members get an additional 20% off), and I also got a token with one of four gifts to choose from.

Because the other three were drinks, I changed to a breakfast.
I feel like breakfast is much more boring than last year 😞
HH originally had two drinks to choose from, but now it has been changed to a fixed drink, only with or without alcohol 🥲

For some reason, I felt that the service staff during this stay were like scarecrows, except for the young lady I met at The MOXY Bar this morning who was very enthusiastic!

The boss said that with this room rate (around $2300) we can’t ask for too much🙈

There is Costco next to it, Showtime Life diagonally opposite, and Jiesuan, which is quite convenient!
