Taichung-Kinshasaki Hipster Cafe near the train station: Yuyu Cafe

#YuYuCafe is a coffee shop in the alley next to #LeFangAime Hotel. The fish refers to #Kinshasayaki. The appearance of the kinshasa is more domineering than the sea bream, with a dragon head and a fish body. This is the first time I have seen kinshasayaki in Taiwan, so I ordered one to try it.

I ordered the most basic red bean mochi filling. The crust was baked to a crispy golden brown, and the mochi filling was chewy. It had a thinner and flatter texture, and was not full of dough in the mouth, which was different from the usual Taiyaki or red bean cakes.

Since it was almost closing time when we visited, we used takeaway cups for our coffee and took the opportunity to take a look around the store. The layout of the first floor is very Japanese-style, and the light brown wooden tables and chairs can easily create this atmosphere.

Looking deeper, we found that there was actually a second floor, and there was no workbench, so the space was more spacious. The biggest difference lies in the floor. The first floor has wood grain floors, while the second floor has retro terrazzo floors. The original Japanese literary style has instantly turned into a retro literary style, which is quite interesting.

The store entrance is also decorated very cutely, and the golden dragon image logo is very design-conscious. It is a hipster store that people will want to come in and sit down when they pass by.
