
Lushan Botanical Garden is located between Dayue Mountain and Hanpo Ridge in the eastern valley of Mount Lushan, at an altitude of 1,000 to 1,300 meters. Its central area is located in the Hanpokou Valley, southeast of Mount Lushan in Jiangxi Province. Founded in 1934 , it is China's oldest botanical garden, home to over 3,400 plant species and a collection of over 100,000 rare plant specimens .
The garden features a fir and cypress area, a tree area, a rock garden, a jade flower garden, a greenhouse area, a swamp plant area, a nursery, a cloud tea garden, a kiwi fruit introduction area, and a medicinal garden. Lushan's specialty, cloud tea, and numerous ornamental plants are all grown here.
