Mamonaku Cafe at Taichung Station is a cafe converted from a retired EMU100. The train carriages are parked on the platform of the old Taichung Station, creating a unique railway coffee experience for guests.
The cafe does not provide reservations. It is recommended that you go when it opens for business, so you have a better chance of sitting in your favorite seat.
The interior of the carriage retains the original structure of EMU100, such as seats and number plates. And the leather seats, wooden tables, railway signs and model displays are cleverly integrated, which has a retro atmosphere.
Different dining areas are carefully planned in a limited space, and each one is unique.
