Taichung Confucius Temple

Taichung Confucius Temple was completed in 1976 and is designed in the style of a Song Dynasty palace, modeled after the layout of the Qufu Confucius Temple.

The Taichung Confucius Temple includes the following architectural elements:
- Archways (Dao Guan Gu Jin and De Mou Tian Di)
- Screen Wall
- Lingxing Gate
- Front Courtyard with Pan Pond
- Guan De Gate
- Yu Cui Gate
- Liao Pavilion
- Yi Site
- Dacheng Gate
- Dacheng Hall
- East and West Wings
- Chongsheng Shrine

It is considered one of the most complete Confucius temples in Taiwan. The temple is set in a tranquil environment and is open to the public for free, allowing visitors to explore and relax. Every year on September 28, the temple hosts the Sacrificial Ceremony to commemorate the birthday of Confucius, the great sage.
