Visiting one of the four existing city gates in Tainan, #Duiyue Gate, commonly known as the Gugu Stone Gate, is also the only accessible city gate. The Xinyi Street cobblestone road runs through it, which is very antique, and the surrounding specialty shops are even more unforgettable.

The old city gate and the cultural and creative shops complement each other, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Shennong Street. However, Duiyue Gate and Xinyi Street are relatively remote and the streets are shorter, so there are relatively fewer tourists. However, there is also a more leisurely feel, making it very suitable for cycling through the alleys, like treasure hunting.

In addition to cultural and creative shops, there are also many old houses and B&Bs in the alleys. People who like old houses can come and experience them. In addition, there are many temples nearby. Every time a deity’s birthday is celebrated, it is always quite lively. Watching the parades and floats really gives you a Japanese festival feel.
