#Xiangyu Academy-Jiangjun District, Tainan City

#AprilGoodDestinations2025
I was already amazed that there was such a Fangyuan Art Museum in a general area (Fuwangzhuang), and there was actually a library located in the fields on the other side called "Xiangyu Academy". The Xiangyu Academy was also built by Mr. Lin Jinhui, the founder of the local Fuwang Culture Foundation, and was donated to the University of National Tainan on December 1, 2012. It is currently one of the two museums affiliated with the University of Tainan, the other being the Boyang Museum of Cultural Relics. The "Xiangyu Academy" is also known as the "Salt Zone Cultural Museum". In addition to collecting Taiwanese literary works and art works from the coastal towns of the Salt Zone, it also handles important tasks such as the collection, organization, research, display and publication of cultural relics in the Salt Zone. Jiangjun District is also the hometown of carrots. The fields outside the academy are surrounded by green leaves. Ask the children what vegetable this is and you will get the correct answer by hinting that it is the little white rabbit's favorite. The Chinese New Year is also the time when carrots are almost harvested. At the intersection of Kapok Avenue before entering the General District, you can see carrots on the community archway to mark the area's agricultural specialty. You can see both an art gallery and a library in this remote town, which may not be found in other remote towns in Taiwan.
