Taijiang Inner Sea's Sihcao Lake is a lagoon rich in natural ecological resources, making it an excellent destination for families to explore mangroves. It features Taiwan's five main mangrove species.
In addition to mangroves, the area is home to wetland crabs and mudskippers, as well as various bird species that nest in the mangroves, including egrets and night herons. During winter, migratory birds like the black-faced spoonbill can also be spotted.
Taijiang National Park is a great place to enjoy the lagoon's ecology by boat and explore the local oyster farming culture, making it ideal for family trips.
