Located 2.5 km northeast of Taining County, Sanming City, Fujian Province (1.5 km from the highway exit), Ming and Qing Garden is the first private collection garden in Fujian Province to collect and display large ancient buildings, wood carving art, family traditions, and Fu culture from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Covering an area of 330 mu, the ancient buildings and wood carvings on display are folk art treasures rescued and protected in the context of old city renovation and new rural construction. The garden displays many ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, including Sima Mansion, Dexin Study, and Gengdu Hall, with diverse architectural styles covering various schools of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It also displays a large number of exquisite wood carvings, such as golden nanmu carvings, thousand-year-old wood carved flower baskets, and ancient opera stages, with delicate carvings and exquisite craftsmanship. There are also rich family traditions and Fu culture, with a Hundred Fu Pavilion in the garden, which collects various plaques and patterns of the word "Fu", reflecting profound cultural connotations. The beauty of the Ming and Qing Garden is not only the beauty of natural scenery, but also the beauty of exquisite craftsmanship. Pavilions, white walls, and blue tiles are all exquisitely carved, with rockeries and pools hidden among them, creating a beautiful picture. Unlike natural scenery, the beauty of the Ming and Qing Garden is created by literati and scholars over thousands of years, carrying rich historical and cultural connotations!
