The hidden gem of Taipei Yang Ming Shan

I was surprised Yang Ming Shan is such a wonderful place to visit. It’s a huge mountain located an hour away from Taipei and you can enjoy nice authentic meals in the hill and sip good cup of coffee overseeing the valley and mountain of Yang Ming Shan.

Getting there require personal car or bus. And I strongly recommend if you can drive, you should do a day trip up to Yang Ming Shan.

But the golden highlight is their famous hot spring hut located in the middle of the Yang Ming Shan known as Leng Shui Keng hot spring.

The best greenery view would be QingTianGang grassland. Over there you can dip your leg and unwind yourself or setup a picnic with your friends.

The view is just amazing and temperature is cooling as well.

If you’re adventures and love hiking. Please hike and enjoy the local well build pathway around the mountain area as well.

Overall, this place is a hidden gem among the locals and I do not spot any tourist over there. We were only lucky to have local friends but this is definitely a new place to visit whenever you’re in taipei.
