Songshan Cultural and Creative Park (English: Songshan Cultural and Creative Park), referred to as Songshan, is a complex cultural exhibition park located in Xinyi District, Taipei City, Taiwan. It was formerly the "Taiwan Governor-General's Office Monopoly Bureau Songshan Tobacco Factory" built in 1937 during the Japanese colonial era. It was renamed the Taiwan Provincial Monopoly Bureau Songshan Tobacco Factory in 1945 after the war. In 1947, it was renamed the "Taiwan Provincial Tobacco and Liquor Monopoly Bureau Songshan Tobacco Factory". It stopped production in 1998 and was designated as the 99th municipal historic site by the Taipei City Government in 2001. It was officially transformed and renamed to its current name in 2010. After the war, the Songshan Tobacco Factory planted a large number of plants and created beautiful scenery. After it stopped production, it has become the largest green space in the East District of Taipei City. In addition to the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, the former site of the Songshan Tobacco Factory also houses the Taipei Cultural and Creative Building and the Taipei Dome which is under construction. They are managed by different units from the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. Moreover, the Taipei Cultural and Creative Building is independently operated under the BOT model and is not part of the operating scope of the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. The two are not subordinate to each other.
