When visiting Taipei, it's definitely worth checking out the Eslite Hotel located next to Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. The name "Eslite" itself evokes a sense of artistic and cultural sophistication, perfectly blending a bookstore, design, and lifestyle aesthetics.
Upon arriving at the hotel, you immediately feel the strong artistic vibe. The lobby is designed with simplicity yet exudes quality, featuring light-colored wood and white marble paired with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that let in natural sunlight, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The spacious plaza outside the hotel boasts modern architectural design.
The rooms are spacious, with a large bed adorned with pristine white sheets and pillows. Soft lighting and wooden furniture add a warm and cozy touch. There's a small corner in the room with two gray armchairs and a round table, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee while gazing at the cityscape outside the window—a truly relaxing experience.
The room also features an expansive balcony offering views of Taipei's skyline, high-rise buildings, distant mountains, and a stretch of blue sky with white clouds, providing a sense of openness. From the balcony, you can see the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park and Eslite Living below, bustling yet serene.
What makes Eslite Hotel truly unique is its connection to the Eslite Bookstore. The hotel is seamlessly integrated with Eslite Living, allowing us to visit the bookstore just downstairs. The bookstore is thoughtfully designed, with shelves filled with a wide variety of books and creative products. Inside the bookstore, there's a small café where we ordered two cups of coffee, sat down, and slowly savored the artistic and leisurely ambiance.
In summary, the comfortable rooms and the artistic atmosphere created by the integration of the hotel and Eslite Bookstore make for a truly special experience.
