🧋Review of 6 milk tea shops that we visited in Taipei

#Songkran2024 Travel Destinations First time in Taiwan, tea lovers like us didn't miss out on trying bubble milk tea at many shops. Most of the places in this post will be near Taipei Main Station because we are staying in this area.

One thing to note about milk tea shops in Taiwan is that almost every shop has 2 sizes of cups, sweetness levels to choose from, and ice levels to choose from.🧊 Another thing is that the milk tea cups here are only paper cups, which we think is a good thing because each shop has different designs on their cups. Sometimes, just one shop has 5-6 designs. If you order this menu and get a cup like this, we think it's also beautiful to take pictures, even if you can't see what's inside.

🧋Oolong Tea Project: This shop is really good, the best. It's located at Ximending Night Market. I ordered Cheese Milk Foam Spring Oolong Tea (50 TWD). The tea is really good and the price is good. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back again.😍

🧋Woo Tea: This shop ordered lemon tea (49 TWD). It's easy to drink and focuses on the freshness of the fruits. There should be many branches if we go to buy at Ximending Night Market.

🧋50嵐 (50 Lan): I saw that there were many branches. I ordered a menu that was pineapple tea (50 TWD). It seemed like they recommended it on the sign as the second most popular menu of the shop. This glass has pineapple in it. I think the pineapple shot is refreshing to drink, but the tea smell is a bit weak.

🧋Chun Shui Tang-春水堂: The world's first milk tea shop. We came to the Zhongzheng branch in the area of ​​Chiang Kai-shek Theater. There is also a food menu here. But if you order take away, you can walk up to the counter and order. And stand and wait to be called in that area. I recommend that you look at the faces of the people who ordered before us. Or go and memorize the numbers in Chinese because the shop will not call in English (but the staff at the food ordering counter can speak English). For milk tea, I ordered the signature milk tea that the shop recommends. I ordered 70% sweetness. I felt that the taste was quite thin, similar to goat milk or something. But the pearls were delicious. They were small.

🧋COMEBUY: I saw that there were many branches in the city. At this shop, we still ordered milk tea (probably 50-60 TWD). The tea flavor was strong and a bit similar to some shops in Thailand. But since it was similar to Thai food, we felt that it was a bit ordinary. 🥲 This shop will give you a paper straw. And I had to poke it for a long time until the straw bent. 😂 In the end, I opened the lid of the glass and dipped the straw in. 🤣🤣

🧋Kebuke: The cuteness of this shop goes to the glass. When I saw the glass, I immediately walked into the shop. This shop's milk tea is quite strange. It has a fruity smell. I'm not sure if it's attached to the pearls. It turned out to be a bit like fruit milk tea. 😅 It's also quite sweet. I ordered about 70%, but it felt like 100% sweet.
