【Taichung City Government】Ful Won Hotel

The location is good, with the MRT City Hall Station right in front, a bus stop nearby, and a U-Bike.
It takes 20 to 30 minutes by bus to head towards Taichung Station on the Taiwan Railway, but this time I chose this hotel because I needed to head to Taichung Station on the day I returned home, and it was better to be near the MRT station.
While the accommodation prices on weekends in Taichung are high everywhere, this hotel met my needs compared to others, so I stayed here.
The reviews say it's old, but the deluxe room is generally renovated and clean. There were no problems with the facilities, such as the washlet and hot water. The exterior and shared spaces have a traditional hotel feel, but I was able to stay comfortably.
The amenities were only a toothbrush, shampoo, and body soap, but I always bring them with me, so it wasn't a problem.
I was surprised by the Dyson hair dryer! My hair dried quickly. The TV only has YouTube and Netflix.
I didn't use the laundry, but it seems to be free. (Detergent is charged)
I didn't mind the noise from the hallway or outside. (Even when the air conditioning was turned down to its lowest setting, it was not very quiet.)
The front desk staff explained things to me in Japanese in a way that was easy to understand.
Side note: the view from the nearby Municipal Park was amazing!
