We returned to Taiwan after nearly 4 years since COVID. We returned in early February, which was the time when Taiwan held the Taiwan Lantern Festival 2023.

The Taiwan Lantern Festival is Taiwan's largest lantern festival in the world, which is held in every city in Taiwan. This time, it returned to Taipei for the first time in 23 years. Lanterns are displayed all over the city, and there are many activities and photo spots. It would take all night to see it all.

The lantern festival is held every year 15 days after Chinese New Year, around early to mid-February. The host city changes every year. In 2024, it will be held in Tainan.
