Taipei's New Tourist Attraction: Tai Jing Nong's Former Residence

Location: No. 25, Wenzhou Street, Da'an District, Taipei City

Introduction: This building was constructed in the 1930s. The main entrance features a 'Tangbo' style, and the Japanese architectural characteristics are well-preserved. It is located in an area that has retained the educational institution dormitory zone's texture and appearance since the Japanese colonial period, making it valuable for preservation. Tai Jing Nong was a professor at National Taiwan University, and the calligraphy on the university's gate was derived from his works. He moved to this residence in May 1990 and passed away in November of the same year. This building was his last residence and holds historical significance in the development of Taiwan's humanities and academic history.
