Location: No. 177, Section 1, Jianguo South Road, Da'an District, Taipei City
Introduction: The predecessor of "PLAYground Air Force Theater"—the Zhongzheng Hall of the Air Force Cultural Headquarters—was built between 1967 and 1969. Its square and solid exterior features high, column-free ceilings and can accommodate over 300 spectators. Under the planning of Daqinghua Media, the original Zhongzheng Hall not only retains its original character but has been transformed into a flexible, multi-functional theater. This not only meets the cultural industry's needs for medium-sized performance spaces and large, high-ceilinged rehearsal spaces, but also supports the "zero to one" initiative of the smaller Nancun Theater, promoting long-selling performances and fully leveraging the ecosystem of a "one to infinity" content production laboratory. This serves as a "cultural laboratory" that integrates "performing arts and cultural innovation, experimentation, exhibitions, and even industrial development."
Admission: Free
Hours: All day
Comments: In the past, this was a heavily guarded place. Today, it is a cultural venue. Whenever there's a theatrical performance, this place always draws crowds. It's a great place for families.
