Nostalgic music time in Dadaocheng: No. 1 Record Store 🎶

Walking into the No. 1 record store in Dadaocheng, you can not only feel the strong musical atmosphere, but also the full human touch.

I took the initiative to ask the boss lady if I could take a photo. She agreed very enthusiastically and also talked to us about the founding process of the record store. She shared how she seized an opportunity during Taiwan’s most prosperous economic period in the 1950s to run the store and has continued to this day.

That entrepreneurial story is full of hard work and wisdom, which makes people have more admiration for this small shop. Listening to old songs played on vinyl records, it feels like traveling back to that golden age.
