Journey of Knowledge and Exploration: Taipei Trip and Wonderful Discoveries at the National Taiwan Science Education Center

Day 1:
Early in the morning, I departed from my hotel in the city to begin my Taipei trip, which was filled with knowledge and urban exploration. The first stop was the National Taiwan Science Education Center located in Shilin. This six-story museum is a paradise for science enthusiasts, with exhibits covering various fields such as physics, chemistry, earth sciences, and life sciences. I particularly enjoyed the interactive exhibits on the fourth floor, where I experienced a simulated earthquake and felt the immense power of nature. Additionally, the 3D theater in the museum was a delightful surprise, making me feel as if I was in the vast universe through advanced visual technology. At noon, I had a simple meal at the museum's restaurant before heading to the nearby Shilin Residence. This garden is rich in historical atmosphere, and the rose garden and lush pathways were truly refreshing. In the evening, I went to the Shilin Night Market to indulge in local delicacies. From pepper buns to large fried chicken cutlets, every bite was filled with authentic Taiwanese flavors, and the lively atmosphere of the night market was captivating.
Day 2:
The second day's journey focused on Taipei's urban attractions. I headed to the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall early in the morning. This solemn building is one of Taipei's iconic landmarks. Upon entering the memorial hall, the grand space inspired a sense of reverence. I watched the changing of the guard ceremony, which impressed many tourists with its precise movements. Next, I visited the nearby Huashan 1914 Creative Park, where the art exhibitions and unique shops were full of creative vibes. I chose a uniquely styled café, ordered handmade desserts and coffee, and enjoyed the beauty of creativity. In the afternoon, I took the MRT to the Maokong Gondola, where I admired the stunning mountain scenery of the Greater Taipei area along the way.
