It's been years since I've been to Taipei. I'm really missing Taiwanese food, so I decided to go for a visit during my friend's birthday.
[Accommodation Recommendation]
Hotel Name: White Space Design Hotel
Address: A 3-minute walk from Taipei Main Station
Day 1: It was almost 10 PM when I checked into the hotel. I was greeted by the adorable Shiba Inu staff, which was very relaxing. The hotel is in a great location, and there's a nearby convenience store for easy food.
Day 2: Headed to Yangmingshan for cherry blossom viewing. 🌸Luckily, the weather was perfect and sunny. We hiked up to the vast plains of Qingtiangang to see the cattle and have a picnic. 🧺We also took a short nap. After recharging our batteries, we headed down the mountain to Ximending for some shopping. We made a teddy bear from a hot sticker shop. 🧸We also had a Taiwanese hot pot with unlimited duck blood.
Day 3: For brunch, we had Shuangyue Food Club. They had excellent mixed noodles and rice blood cakes. 😋The fried rice is also their signature dish. I highly recommend trying it. Afterwards, it's a short walk to the Huashan Cultural and Creative District, where you'll find a variety of exhibitions and pop-up shops, including Snoopy, Rilakkuma, Doreme, Chiikawa, Gintama, and more. It's a great place to shop and see!
Day 4: We had excellent teppanyaki at Breeze Nanshan and visited the Rabbit pop-up shop. The abstract bunnies there are so adorable—a must-buy! And it's best to drink until you fall asleep for another five minutes. A truly fulfilling trip to Taipei!
