Day 1: Explore the elegant secrets of Jourdenice Castle
Early in the morning, I set out from downtown Taipei and headed to Jordanes Castle in New Taipei City. This castle built in European style is like a dream scene in a fairy tale. As you walk through the door, you're greeted by a rich aroma that makes you relax instantly. Visiting the beauty and skin care exhibition area in the castle, you can not only learn about the history and philosophy of the Jordanes brand, but also experience the skin care products based on natural ingredients firsthand. I signed up for an aromatherapy course and received a massage from a professional beautician. I felt like I was in the clouds. In the afternoon, I enjoyed exquisite afternoon tea in the castle's open-air café, enjoying the double feast of food and scenery.
Day 2: Finding happy corners on the streets of Taipei
The next day, I chose to stay in downtown Taipei and headed to Yongkang Street to explore the various specialty shops. In the morning, enjoy a bowl of warm beef noodles and experience the authentic Taiwanese taste. Afterwards, I strolled through a quiet alley and stumbled upon a handmade perfume shop, where I picked out a special perfume as a souvenir of my journey. In the afternoon, we visited Taipei Cultural and Creative Park to enjoy a contemporary art exhibition and browse our favorite literary works in an independent bookstore. The two-day trip not only took care of my outer beauty, but also nourished my inner soul, allowing me to face the next challenges of life with a new attitude.
