[Taiwan Travel Tips] Things to know before traveling to Taiwan

◾︎Apply for an Arrival card online before you travel to Taiwan!

You can fill out a paper form on the plane, but applying online in advance will save you time.

◾︎When you return to Japan, register with Visit Japan to save time by not having to fill out a paper customs declaration!

◾︎Be careful to check your belongings!

Passport, credit card, Wi-Fi (rental Wi-Fi or e-SIM), etc.

The outlets are the same type as in Japan, so you can use them as they are, but if you have a converter plug like the one in the post, you can charge multiple devices at once, which is convenient!

◾︎You can't drink the tap water, but there are water server machines installed all over the city, so if you have a bottle, you can drink water for free without buying it, which is great!

◾︎Toilets → Nowadays, most toilets can be flushed like in Japan, but in suburban areas, tourist spots, and newer hotels, you can't flush toilet paper, so make sure it's "OK to flush"!

◾︎Hotel amenities are great, body soap is provided, but toothbrushes and other items are not provided for free, so be sure to bring them with you!

◾︎There is a refund system for shopping in Taiwan, so check the amount you spent and receive your refund!
