Introducing Eslite R79, an underground bookstore that I came across by chance while traveling in Taipei!

I can't believe there's such a large space underground! It's a complex facility with a variety of stores, stationery stores, bookstores, and more. The area is quite large and there are many different genres of books. I recommend the photo books and recipe books, as they are enjoyable even if you don't understand Chinese. This facility is enjoyable not only for locals but also for tourists.

What I personally enjoyed was that there was a free charging spot! Both USB and outlets can be used, which is great. The charging corners at stations are often crowded, so this is a hidden spot that I recommend.

I was a little concerned that the toilets were a bit open-air and shared by men and women, but they are there. I think you can use them if you don't mind the details.
