When you check into Taipei Marriott Hotel, what comes into view is the spacious and grand reception hall and the shining light of the Tamsui River outside the window. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, this place is more like a modern hotel that dialogues with the mountain scenery of Beitou. The sunlight shines into the room, pure and peaceful, marking the beginning of today's cultural journey.
Go to the National Palace Museum in Taipei and walk among the countless cultural relics. The Jadeite Cabbage and the Meat-shaped Stone are still the focus of everyone's attention. What moved me even more was the Song Dynasty landscape painting. The mist and tranquility between the ink and wash seemed to pull me out of time. Although there are many tourists, the museum has a kind of tranquility. I returned to the hotel in the evening, had a drink in the bar on a high floor, and looked out at the night view of northern Taipei. All that remained in my heart was a sense of admiration and aftertaste for the past thousand years.
