The "Beauty Speaks for Itself" special exhibition of the collection's highlights, co-organized by the National Palace Museum in Taipei, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, and Van Cleef & Arpels, is definitely your best choice!

✨Stepping into the exhibition hall is like stepping into a palace of art. More than 260 art treasures spanning ancient and modern times and integrating the East and the West exude fascinating charm. From the exquisite cultural relics in the Forbidden City to the collections in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris to the exquisite jewelry of Van Cleef & Arpels, each piece makes people stop to appreciate and take photos.

🔍The exhibition is divided into five major thematic areas: "Natural Things", "Moving and Still", "Fantasy Wonderland", "Mysterious" and "Colorful", taking you to explore the beauty of ultimate craftsmanship in different time and space. Wandering through the park, you will come across the bamboo-joint inkstone carved from Songhua stone, and feel the dynamic movement of the bamboo swaying in the wind on the hard stone; admire the ivory carving of the Eight Immortals fighting the Dragon King of the East China Sea, and feel the surging waves from the delicate ivory carvings. There is also the dreamy and profound "Fantasy Wonderland" area, which immerses you in the imaginary world constructed by Eastern and Western myths.

🥬It is worth mentioning that the Jade Cabbage is now on display in Showroom 107 on the first floor as the finale exhibit of the "Great Beauty Without Words" special exhibition. It is carved from white-green natural jade and is lifelike. Together with the katydid, it is the best example of the combination of color use and ingenuity.

💡Tips:

• Try to visit in the morning when there are fewer people and the experience is better. There are more tour groups after 12 noon.

• Make an appointment for the tour guide service in advance on the official website of the National Palace Museum in Taipei (NT$30, great value), one session at 10:30 am and one at 14:30 pm.

• No additional tickets are required for special exhibitions, but you may need to queue during popular periods. You can get a ticket in advance (get it at the entrance of 105).
