Spread the gentle morning light with raw toast and black coffee at "Pillo"

The moment I walked into "pillo", I felt a sense of security as if I was being embraced. Without much talk, I ordered a plate of raw toast and black coffee. The toast is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like the warmth in some memory. Every bite is like saying to the morning, "It's okay to go slow." Paired with a cup of black coffee, the bitter taste is steady but not overpowering. Instead, it makes the whole person slowly sober, as if quietly washing away the noise in the mind.

I particularly like their seating arrangement, which is simple yet comfortable. There is a tacit understanding that there is no need to leave in a hurry, nor to pretend to be special. Just being alone with yourself, eating some toast and drinking some coffee is enough. Such moments are precious little joys in our daily lives.
