Taipei "Lao Abo Pang Yu" Enjoy soup and noodles casually at Dihua Street

#0YenTravel2025Autumn
"Lao Abo Pang Pengyu" is located near Daqiaotou on Dihua Street in Taipei.
It's a casual and easy-going spot with a large local following.
It's said to be a restaurant with 60 years of history.

They offer soup with fish balls and winter melon, soup with squid and winter melon, and a soup with both.

Meatballs are found among the fish balls, and the light soup is light but the meatball flavor is just right.

The thick soup, rich with the umami of squid broth, creates a delicious harmony of seafood and meat.

Scallion rice topped with sweet and spicy green onions! This is delicious! I heard they use shallots! The small size is great for a solo traveler, allowing me to try other dishes.

Because the bowl was small, I greedily ordered noodles too! Three dishes was a lot for me, but it was so delicious I ate it all.

It has an open-air, street-food atmosphere, so even though it can get hot, it's a wonderful place to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.
