Exploring the Chungshan Building on Yangmingshan

The Chungshan Building, located on Yangmingshan in Taipei City, is a multifunctional conference facility characterized by its traditional Chinese palace-style architecture. As a child, I had a certain fascination with it—perhaps because its design often appeared on New Taiwan Dollar banknotes and postage stamps!

I frequently visit Yangmingshan throughout the year for hiking, flower viewing, and food hunting, but I had never actually entered the Chungshan Building despite passing by it many times. This time, we made an online group reservation five days in advance to tour the building. The entire visit was guided by volunteers who provided detailed explanations, giving me the feeling of unlocking the mysteries of the Chungshan Building.
