Walking in Taipei's Xinyi District, in addition to the bustling department stores, there is actually one of my favorite routes hidden: Xinyi Xiangti Avenue. There are not only tree-lined walkways with sunshine, but also cultural and creative markets that appear from time to time. It is a good place to walk and you can find treasures at any time!

🏙️ Taipei's streetscapes can also be very design-oriented
It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the MRT City Hall Station to Xiangti Avenue. There are tall buildings along the road, and you can also see the Taipei 101 building from a distance. It feels like you are walking through the street scenes of Japanese dramas. The whole area is surrounded by greenery, and it is super beautiful to take pictures when the weather is good!

The trails of Xiangti Avenue are paved very comfortably, and there are many street performers and installation art on both sides. Even on holidays, the crowds are not too crowded. You can walk, watch, take pictures and chat. It is very comfortable to come with friends or lovers.

Interestingly, the market here is not only limited to holidays, but sometimes it is held on weekdays. The goods sold by the stall owners are very ingenious, such as dried flowers, desserts, fragrances, illustrations, etc., which gives you a feeling of randomly encountering happiness.
When you are tired of walking, pick a cup of hand-brewed coffee and drink it slowly under the tree, which is also a healing choice.

📍 Xiangti Avenue can be reached by walking about 5 minutes from Exit 3 of the MRT "City Hall Station".
If you come from the MRT "Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station", it only takes about 10 minutes.
