The National Taiwan Science and Education Center's special exhibition area on the west side of the seventh floor is currently showcasing the "Tiger Aunt and Friends Immersive Playground," a delightful experience for both adults and children.
This exhibition cleverly blends traditional fairy tales with modern technology to create a fantastical world full of imagination and interactive fun.
The exhibition will run until October 12, 2025 (Sunday), making it a perfect weekend getaway for families.

1. Music Forest - Immersive Experience Area

As soon as you step into the "Music Forest," you'll be instantly enveloped by light, shadow, and sound.

This area utilizes immersive projection technology, transforming the entire space into a vibrant forest.

As you move, the projections on the ground change, emitting a variety of fun sound effects. Here, children aren't just about watching, but about experiencing and exploring with their whole bodies. It's like stepping into a fairy tale, engaging in a wondrous dialogue with nature.

2. Music Park - Free Play and Exploration Area
Next, we arrived at the Music Park, which resembles a large, creative playground filled with a variety of free-to-explore play structures.
Children can play various instruments or use their body movements to trigger changes in light, shadow, and sound.
Every corner encourages children to unleash their creativity, engage their hands, learn through play, and create unique musical and play experiences with their peers.

3. Tiger Aunt AR Interactive Experience - Making Sounds Heard and Visible
This was my personal favorite!
Through AR augmented reality technology, the story of Tiger Aunt is no longer just a legend passed down by word of mouth, but comes alive.
You can use a special device to make your voices "visible."
When you speak or sing into the microphone, the on-screen Tiger Aunt interacts with you, and the rise and fall of your voice creates interesting visual effects. This design is not only fun but also allows children to learn about the scientific principles of sound, creating a wonderful experience that is both educational and entertaining.

4. Cute and Warm Domino Park
Finally, we arrived at the "Domino Park," an area filled with adorable and heartwarming art installations. The Dominoes, with their chubby bodies and warm smiles, create a relaxing and soothing atmosphere. It's a great place for photos and a great place for children to relax after a game. Accompanied by the Dominoes, children can quietly reflect on their adventure.

Overall, this exhibition not only reinterprets the familiar story of Aunt Tiger, but also uses a variety of interactive technologies to create an immersive playground full of surprises and learning.
