Innovative Thai cuisine in Taipei's East District

A new Thai restaurant recently opened in an alley in the East District. The owner and staff are all Thai. They offer fried dishes, grilled dishes, Thai salads, and classic thai pork and stir-fried instant noodles. 🇹🇭

I'd heard their fried water spinach was amazing before I came here, and it was the first time I'd heard of it being fried, so I was really excited. And it was! It was incredibly crispy and not greasy at all. It was even more refreshing with the owner's special sauce. 😍

The fried pork liver was also quite good, not too dry or tough. 🐽

The fried mama noodles were refreshing and slightly sour, but the lemongrass flavor was quite strong, so those who don't like lemongrass should avoid them. 🌱

The grilled chicken skewers were incredibly tender and juicy, but there was no sauce, just plain chicken skewers, which was a bit of a shame. 🐔

They also have a special highball. I ordered the lemon and oolong tea ones, both of which were quite good, not overpowering or sweet. It's a great pairing with fried foods.

Since it's new, the food is a bit slow to arrive.
The restaurant isn't very spacious, so you'll need to wait for a table during meal times. You can register first, and the owner will call you when it's your turn. Just come back later. 👌
