🏛️ Taiwan National Palace Museum Travelogue
I visited the National Palace Museum, a place I'd always wanted to visit in Taipei.
I'd heard a lot about it housing Chinese imperial treasures, but when I actually went, the phrase "world-class museum" really came to life.
From the entrance, the majestic building and the surrounding mountains made me feel like I was entering a palace. I rented a Korean audio guide and listened to the explanations while I was there, which made it much more understandable than just looking at the exhibits.
I especially wanted to see the famous **Jade Cabbage** and the Pork Belly Stone, but I wasn't lucky.
They say you have to be really lucky to see them, but I didn't see them even on my third visit. Haha
There are so many exhibits, it's hard to see everything, and even though I only visited the main exhibits, half a day flew by. Plus, the exhibits change every three months, so I can always see something new every time I visit, which was a nice touch.
Just standing in front of that magnificent building was one of the most memorable moments of my Taiwan trip.
