Ask for love at Longshan Temple

Longshan Temple

This is another must-see when visiting Taiwan, as it is one of the oldest and most famous temples in Taiwan.
Featuring a beautiful blend of traditional Chinese architecture, including the roof, pillars, and dragon motifs, this sacred temple is a popular destination for people seeking blessings for love, health, studies, and career. The temple is renowned for its red string offerings. Praying for love at Longshan Temple is particularly popular, especially for those seeking blessings from the God of Love, Yue Lao, who ties red strings to ensure that couples' destinies are fulfilled. Jiaobei (生物) is used to make a wish for the red string.
Method: Take two pieces of jiaobei and pray silently.
Throw the pieces on the ground.
If you get one face down and one face up, it means "God has granted permission."
If not, try again two more times, for a total of three. If you don't get a good result, it means "God has granted permission." It's not too late, but admission is free.

Open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

To get there, take the MRT (subway) Bannan Line (Blue Line) and get off at Longshan Temple Station (BL10). Take Exit 1 and walk to the temple.
