Take the MRT Tamsui-Xinyi Line (Red Line) from Taipei Main Station to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Station.

Lunch: Ximending
12:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Lunch and Shopping
From Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, take the MRT Songshan–Xindian Line (Green Line) to Ximen Station.
Ximending is the hub of Taipei’s pop culture, filled with street food and trendy shops. You can try famous eats such as Ay-Chung Flour-Rice Noodles and Lao Tien Lu braised snacks, or snap some retro-style shots at the Red House.
Afternoon: Xinyi District
2:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Taipei 101 and Xinyi Shopping Area
From Ximen Station, take the MRT Bannan Line (Blue Line) to Taipei City Hall Station or Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station.
Highlights: Taipei 101 is Taiwan’s most recognizable symbol, where you can capture classic cityscape photos. The surrounding Xinyi shopping district offers department stores and unique buildings such as Breeze Nanshan’s Sky Tower—great for photo spots as well. If you’d like to enjoy the night view of Taipei, consider going up to the Taipei 101 observatory before sunset.
Evening: Huashan 1914 Creative Park
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Huashan 1914 Creative Park
From Taipei City Hall Station, take the MRT Bannan Line (Blue Line) to Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station.
Highlights: Once a former winery, this cultural park now brims with artistic flair. It’s home to boutique shops, exhibitions, and cozy cafés. The industrial-style buildings themselves make it a great spot for artsy, Instagram-worthy photos.
Night: Return to Taipei Main Station
7:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Dinner and Shopping
From Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, take the MRT Bannan Line (Blue Line) back to Taipei Main Station.
Around the station, you’ll find plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops. For a more authentic local flavor, you could head to Ningxia Night Market (take the MRT to Shuanglian or Zhongshan Station, then walk), though time might be tight. Alternatively, you can dine at one of the department stores near the station and pick up popular souvenirs like pineapple cakes.
9:00 PM – 9:30 PM: Collect Luggage and Get Ready for Departure
Return to Taipei Main Station to retrieve your luggage. If you’ve used a coin locker, make sure your EasyCard is topped up.
