Longshan/Lungshan Temple in Taipei

Longshan Temple is one of the most religious places in Taipei. It became a major spiritual and community centre for settlers from mainland China since it was built in 1730. Nowdays you can still see lots of visitors and locals worshiping. Most people worship Guanshiyin Budda and other divine spirits. Today, it is also one of the most significant religious landmarks in Taipei. The Temple features ornate and colourful details. Lots of incenses are burnt and art work is displayed in the interior. It is closed until 10:00 PM but if you are a visitor you must leave the place at 5:00pm. The recommended time for this site would be between 1 hour to 2 hours.
