Wander through the streets of Bangka and experience Taipei's original prosperity

Walking through the Wanhua District of Taipei's Wanhua District, you can almost hear the cries of hawkers from bygone days. One of Taipei's earliest developed areas, Wanhua prospered during the Qing Dynasty thanks to water transportation, and today it retains a traditional market atmosphere.

Starting from Longshan Temple, I strolled along the Guangzhou Street Night Market and the Bopiliao Historic District. Hidden among the alleys are authentic snacks and time-honored shops. Fried rice, herbal tea, and traditional pastries all exude a distinct Taiwanese flavor. Looking up, you'll see preserved red-brick houses and arched arcades, telling stories from centuries past.

Wangjia's greatest charm lies in its fusion of history and vibrant life. Whether exploring culture or savoring local delicacies, this area offers travelers a glimpse into Taipei's roots.
