Taipei Station/Beimen Station Kawanare no Shima Cafe in the beautiful red brick Mitsui Warehouse

#0YenTravel2025Autumn
The former Mitsui & Co., Ltd. North Gate Warehouse, built during the Japanese invasion.
Once demolished, it has been rebuilt, and the first floor tells the history of the warehouse.
Remains of the original store name remain on the walls, and there's even an exhibit.
The interior has been beautifully renovated, creating a comfortable space with a retro feel.

We were able to go up to the second floor, but there weren't any exhibits; it seemed to be used more for performances and events. However, there were some exhibits, including the chimney and old bricks.

On the first floor, there was a cafe called Kawaryu No Shima.
They served Taiwanese beer and seemed like a bar-like atmosphere in the evening.

I ordered the Taiwanese Jin Xuan Oolong tea. Like other tea shops, they provide hot water, so I was able to brew several times and relax.
