Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Taipei

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall: A grand memorial built to commemorate former President Chiang Kai-shek. The main building is white with a blue roof, situated on the expansive Liberty Square. Climbing 89 steps leads to a large statue. Inside, there are exhibitions about his biography, and notably, the hourly changing of the guard ceremony, which attracts tourists to witness the elegance of the ceremony and this significant landmark in Taipei.
