Taiwan's 100 Peaks - Nanheng Cliffs ⛰️Taguan Mountain | (Spectacular Giant Tree Forest)

Also known as Daguanshan, Taiwan's 100 Peaks Guanshan, numbered 72, has an altitude of 3,222 meters. A mountain entry permit is required, but no park entry permit is required, so the difficulty is within the acceptable range for novices.
There are not many parking spaces, so it is not easy to park. It is more convenient to take a shuttle bus or ride a motorcycle.
Here you will pass through a group of giant trees with very thick trunks, which are comparable to those on Alishan and look very spectacular.
This mountain has many edges and corners, and the top of the mountain feels more like a cliff. Unlike the lush green Hehuan Mountain, the scenery here is more like a majestic one, with a different feeling.
It is estimated that it will take 2-3 hours to reach the summit without taking a break. You should arrange your energy appropriately. In fact, you can see different landscapes more clearly if you walk slowly.
Address: Search for "Taguan Mountain Trailhead"
Remember to apply for a mountain entry permit before departure.
