Taitung|East Coast Installation Art [Jialulan Recreation Area]

Located along Taiwan Provincial Highway 11, the Jialulan Recreation Area is one of the most iconic artistic landscapes on Taitung's East Coast. Originally a radar station for the Air Force, it was transformed into a seaside leisure area after being decommissioned. The expansive grasslands seamlessly connect with the vast Pacific Ocean, offering an unobstructed view.

The highlight of the park is the installation art from the East Coast Land Art Festival. Each piece harmonizes with the sea breeze, sky, and mountain scenery, showcasing varying light and shadow effects throughout the day. Whether it's wooden sculptures, driftwood creations, or ocean-inspired designs, visitors can't resist capturing stunning photos.

In the afternoon, sitting on the grass and watching the waves crash against the shore, with the sea and sky merging into one, brings a sense of clarity and peace. Jialulan is not only an art exhibition space but also a perfect spot to enjoy nature.

📍Location: Jialulan Recreation Area (157 km mark on Taiwan Provincial Highway 11, Taitung City, Taitung County)
