Flower Power at Yangmingshan Hydrangea Fields

#chinatravel The hydrangea fields at Yangmingshan in Beitou District, Taipei City are an absolute treat if you’re into flowers or just want a super pretty spot to chill. I went during bloom season and the whole area was bursting with color. Pink, blue, purple hydrangeas everywhere. It kind of felt like walking through a dream garden.

There are a few different flower farms up there and most let you walk through the fields and take all the photos you want. The mountain air is fresh, and the views are awesome since you’re surrounded by both flowers and hills. It can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends, but the vibe stays pretty relaxed. There are also little cafes nearby where you can grab a drink and enjoy the scenery.

Getting there is a bit of a trek but definitely worth it if you love nature or photography. If you’re in Taipei during bloom season, Yangmingshan’s hydrangeas are a must-see. Just don’t forget your camera.
