Fresh Air and Forest Trails at Taipingshan Forest Recreation Area

#chinatravel Taipingshan Forest Recreation Area is one of those places that makes you feel like you hit reset. I went up for a day trip and it was just nonstop peaceful vibes. The air is super crisp and clean, and the whole area is packed with giant trees, misty views, and quiet trails.

The drive up is a bit twisty but totally worth it once you get into the forest. One of my favorite spots was the old railway trail, where you can walk along wooden tracks through the trees with nothing but the sounds of birds and wind. It’s great for hiking, taking photos, or just spacing out and enjoying nature. There’s also a small café near the visitor center if you want a warm drink while looking out over the mountains.

If you’re in Yilan and want to escape into the forest for a few hours, Taipingshan is a perfect pick for some slow, quiet time.
