#chinatravel If you're into art, design, or just cool stuff in general, the Yingge Ceramics Museum in New Taipei City is a fun stop. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but it’s honestly such a chill and inspiring place to wander around. The exhibits cover everything from traditional pottery to super modern ceramic art, and some of the pieces are seriously mind-blowing.
The space itself is really open and well-designed, with a lot of natural light and spots to just hang out and take it all in. There’s also a hands-on area where you can try making something yourself, which is fun even if you have zero skills like me.
It’s not a huge museum, so you won’t feel overwhelmed, and it’s right in Yingge, which has a whole street full of ceramic shops and little cafes. Totally worth a visit if you’re near Taipei and want something different and creative.
