What to do in Tainan

#chinatravel Exploring the Taiwan Confucius Temple was honestly a peaceful and interesting way to spend an afternoon. It’s got this calm, chill vibe that hits you the moment you walk in. The big red walls, arched gates, and ancient-looking courtyards give you this cool throwback to history. It’s not crowded like other spots, so you can actually take your time and wander around without rushing.
There are plaques and signs all over with info about Confucian teachings and the temple’s background, which is pretty neat. This place is actually the first Confucius temple ever built in Taiwan, way back in 1665 during the Qing Dynasty. That alone makes it feel pretty special.
I loved how quiet it was compared to the city buzz outside. Just birds, trees, and the sound of your own footsteps on stone paths. Whether you're into history or just want a breather, this spot is a little hidden gem that’s totally worth checking out.
