☕ Minami Coffee Shop – A Classic Café to Start Your Day
As a coffee lover, I started my morning early at Minami Coffee Shop (南珈琲店), located in a Takamatsu city alley.

🧡 Recommended menu: Vienna coffee + thick toast set.

The ambiance features wooden interiors and warm lighting, evoking the charm of old Japanese coffee houses.
The sweet and slightly bitter whipped cream coffee paired with crispy toast was delightful😍
Note: Smoking is allowed in the café.

🍜 Hideyama Udon – A Self-Serve Kamayama Udon Shop
For lunch, I visited Hideyama Udon (日の出製麺所), a popular spot among locals and tourists alike.

This rare udon shop operates for only 3 hours a day!!
The self-serve style lets you pick up your udon, add soft-boiled eggs and green onions, and pour the broth yourself.

The chewy noodles, light broth, and soft eggs combined to create the perfect bowl.

📍 Near Takamatsu Station (about 10 minutes by car)
🕗 11:00 ~ 14:00 (Closes early if ingredients run out)
