Maybe some of you don't have an image of going to Gifu to see cherry blossoms! Gifu has some great cherry blossom spots too✨
This time, I'd like to introduce the Garyu Sakura in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture
[About Garyu Sakura]
Garyu Sakura is pronounced "Garyu Sakura," and the reason it was named so is because the trunk of the tree resembles a dragon lying down, or in other words, sleeping👀
The tree is 1,100 years old, 30m wide, and 20m tall
The type of cherry blossom is "Edo Higan Sakura."
Even for Hido Higan Sakura, it's rare to see it bloom in this shape✨
Compared to the Somei Yoshino that we all often see and hear about, this cherry blossom blooms relatively early🌸
This cherry blossom has actually been in a state of withering many times, but it has made a magnificent comeback and is still blooming so beautifully🤩
It's a cherry blossom that makes you feel its vitality😍
Just that alone is enough to give you power!
I wonder if the best time to see it this year will be mid-April?
[Access Information]
This place is actually right next to the station, so it's super convenient to get to!
You can go to the next station from Takayama Station while sightseeing in Takayama🚃
If you're coming by car, there's a parking lot for 250 cars so you can park safely🅿️
---
That's it!
What do you think?
The breathtakingly beautiful Garyu Sakura🐉
This year is the Year of the Dragon🐲
Please go and see the cherry blossoms associated with dragons!
