You can find Hidagyu, one of the top 3 premium beefs in Japan, as street food. It's so delicious that you should definitely try it all.

1️⃣Hidagyu Steamed Bun

+) What is Hidagyu here?..!?
'Hida' is the name of the region / 'Gyu' means cow 🐂

Takayama is famous for cows,
and Hidagyu is one of the must-eat foods when traveling to Takayama.
There was a lot of beef in the steamed bun
It was expensive for a steamed bun (about 430 yen~), but I think it was worth it

It's so delicious that I totally recommend it as street food.

2️⃣Hida-gyu Sushi 🍣

There are a few Hida-gyu sushi restaurants on Sanmachi-suji Street,
but the one I went to was 'Hida-gyu Nigiri Sushi'!
They serve 2 pieces at a time, and they grill it right in front of you,
so it was shiny! By the way, it was really delicious
The moment I put it in my mouth, the meat juice flavor was amazing
It was just so X100 delicious!!!! I really recommend it!!

+) By the way, there are no cutlery. You can just eat with your hands
There is a sink, so you can wash your hands
But the bowl was a snack like a pancake
You can eat sushi and snacks together.
3️⃣Hida-gyu Beef Skewers

I went to a place called 'Original Higashi Beef Skewers'

It was at the end of the street, and they sold skewers
and meat products
They grilled it right in front of you after you ordered it
And they sprinkled just the right amount of salt on it
So it was just the right amount of salt and really delicious
It wasn't tough, and this small piece of beef was juicy
I was amazed as soon as I ate it!
